Dua before sleeping in English with transliteration

dua before sleeping at night

Allah s.w.t. created day and night to give us balance in life. After going through the hustle and bustle in the day at work or school, He blesses us with the darkness of night time for us to settle down and reflect on ourselves to regain back our spirit and start a new day tomorrow.

Have they not seen that We have made the night for them to rest and the daytime a beholder?

(Surah An-Naml, 27:86)

Sleep is an essential routine in life. It’s just as important as eating healthy and exercising. Good sleep affects our physical and mental wellbeing to give us a better quality of life every morning.

It is important that we try to end every day on a good note, even when things didn’t go as planned. Allah s.w.t. mentions in the Quran:

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

(Surah Az-Zumar 39:53)
